Delete your Monk Pay account

We are sorry to see you go. Here is exactly how it works.

Before you start

1. Move your money out. An account that still holds a balance cannot be deleted. Withdraw to your bank or mobile money, or send the balance to another wallet.
2. Make sure you have downloaded any statements you want to keep.

In the mobile app

Open Account → Delete account, check the details, and tap the button to email us your request. We confirm it with you before deleting anything.

On the web

Sign in at https://app.monkpay.io, open Settings → Delete account, and use the button to email us your request.

Or just email us

Write to info@monkpay.io from the address registered on your account, with the subject "Delete my Monk Pay account". We will reply to confirm it is really you.

What happens next

• We delete your sign-in and personal profile.
• We must keep some records for the period the law requires, such as transaction history and identity checks. We keep only what we must, then erase it.
• Deletion cannot be undone. You can open a new account later, but your old history will not return.
